Our commitment

Big Joe Lift Trucks Inc. is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of building the site well, not as an afterthought, and we work to improve it on an ongoing basis.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, and Level AA is the standard commonly referenced for public commercial websites.

Conformance status

This website substantially conforms with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, with remediation ongoing. Substantial conformance means most of the site meets the standard, while some areas are still being reviewed and improved. We do not claim that the site is fully or completely accessible, and we are working to close the gaps we know about.

Our most recent review (July 2026) combined an automated audit with manual keyboard and screen-reader testing, and we remediated the issues it identified at the source in the site's code. We do not use an accessibility overlay or widget; those do not fix underlying code and can interfere with assistive technology.

Ongoing measures

To keep improving and to maintain conformance, we:

• Run automated accessibility checks (using the axe-core engine, via tools such as axe DevTools and Lighthouse) on our key pages.
• Perform keyboard-only testing to confirm every interactive element is reachable, operable, and shows a visible focus indicator.
• Spot-check pages with a screen reader to confirm headings, labels, and reading order make sense.
• Fix accessibility issues in the source code rather than masking them, and factor accessibility into new work.
