- Manual vs electric pallet jack — when should I upgrade?
- When your team moves loads all shift, travels long distances, or works ramps, a powered pallet jack pays back in less fatigue and faster cycles. For occasional, short, light moves a manual jack is often enough. Tell us your daily throughput and travel distance and we will point you to the right one.
- Can electric pallet jacks run in cold storage?
- It depends on the model and battery chemistry — some units are rated or optioned for freezer and cold-storage duty, others are not. Cold affects battery performance and condensation, so this is application-specific. Ask us for a cold-rated recommendation.
- How long does charging take?
- Charge time is model- and chemistry-specific — lithium units support opportunity-charging on breaks, while lead-acid follows a longer scheduled cycle. We confirm the real numbers for your model on the quote.
